How can I pray for persecuted Christians?

Many believers are disowned by their Muslim family and forced to live isolated from all their friends and family. Please pray for them to have peace, and also to one day be able to share the gospel with their loved ones.

Oftentimes, Muslim businesses will refuse to hire Christian converts, and so many households in Redeemed Church do not have a stable income. Please pray for the Lord to bless them with safe and secure jobs.

In times of crisis, like civil wars, Christians, especially those who are refugees, are the last ones to receive help from local agencies. Please pray for their safety, security, and for them to remain strong in the faith.
How can I pray for my Muslim friend to find Christ?

Pray that their eyes would open to see Jesus
“Then the eyes of those who see will not be closed, and the ears of those who hear will give attention.” Isaiah 32:3
The enemy is actively working to keep people in darkness. He traps non-believers in lies to keep them from seeing Jesus– this is what has happened to Muslims!

Pray for them be drawn to the Father
“No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.” John 6:44
Believers who come from a Muslim background did not get there through their own power, but because God, through His Spirit, drew them to Himself and they responded. Pray for God to work in your Muslim friends’ lives to set them free from the hoplessness of Islam and bring them into a relationship with Him.

Pray for your Muslim friend to repent of their sins
“The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”
2 Peter 3:9
The natural result of having one’s eyes opened to the truth is recognizing our sinfulness and need for a Savior. Pray for your Muslim friend to respond to the Holy Spirit’s conviction to repent of their sins and accept Christ as Lord and Savior.
