Question: “Don’t I believe in the same God that Christians do? Why do Christians say Allah is not the same?”

Answer: There are many differences between Allah of the Quran and the God of the Bible, despite Muhammad’s claim that they are the same. You can read more about these differences here.

Question: “The Bible is corrupted! Why should I believe anything from it?”

Answer: Most Muslims are taught that the Bible has been corrupted by Jews or Christians, despite verses in the Quran that tell Muslims to ask the “People of the Book” for guidance. And, Surah X:X explicitly clarifies that Jews and Christians only twisted the Bible with their words. So why can’t you read the physical Bible, the written Word of God?

You can trust the Bible as the Word of God, and here’s why.

Question: “How do you claim God died? That’s impossible!”

Answer: You’re right, it is impossible for God to cease existing and die, because God is eternal. However, Jesus the Son of God died to be the payment for our sins. He physically died in his human flesh, but His divine spirit did not die – or else all of creation would have stopped (Colossians 1:16-17).

Question: “Why do Christians call Jesus the Son of God?”

Answer: When Christians call Jesus the Son of God, we are not referring to an actual physical offspring from a sexual relationship. Rather, “son” is the closest description we have when understanding the intimate Jesus has with God; Jesus also calls God the “Father” in the Bible.
