Mariam constantly lives in fear under Islam in Saudi Arabia. How can she hear about Christ?
Mariam secretly watches Glory TV when her husband is not home. She begins to wonder if she has been lied to her whole life… The secure phone number she sees on the screen gives Mariam the courage to text her first question.

Answers for the lost
“Did Jesus come for me too?”
Amal, one of our evangelists, responds to Mariam with compassion, and she starts sending Mariam Bible passages that answer her questions and introduce her to Jesus. Mariam continues to read and ask questions.
One day, Mariam writes, “I know the cost may be huge, but I’m ready to follow Christ!” Amal joyfully leads Mariam in prayer and explains to her the new life in Christ. Mariam is set free from her life of fear, but she is not allowed to fellowship and worship with believers in Saudi Arabia.
A church for the churchless
After several months of discipleship, Amal introduces Mariam to one of the pastors at Redeemed Church, who welcomes her and helps her begin her journey of becoming a church member.
Mariam joyfully joins the Redeemed Church family. Now she is not alone. She can worship and grow alongside other converts and find mentorship from a committed female believer.
A family serving Jesus
Every week, during the online prayer meeting, Mariam asks the church to pray for her husband, Mahmoud, will come to know Christ.
After a few months, Mariam gathers her courage and shares her newfound faith with Mahmoud. To her surprise, he hears her out and joins her during one of the church services.
After a long phone call with Redeemed Church’s discipleship pastor, Mahmoud prays and accepts Jesus as Savior with Mariam by his side.
Now Mariam, Mahmoud, and their three children are being a light in Saudi Arabia, secretly sharing Christ’s love.
