10 Best Approaches for Sharing Your Testimony About Jesus and Using Personal Stories to Share the Love of Jesus

  1. Start with a personal story. Share a time when you experienced God's love or grace in your life. This will help to create a connection with the person you're talking to and make them more likely to listen to what you have to say.

  2. Be genuine. Don't try to be someone you're not. Just be yourself and share your story in a way that's authentic and relatable.

  3. Be respectful. Listen to the other person's point of view and try to understand where they're coming from. Don't be judgmental or argumentative.

  4. Be patient. It may take time for the other person to come around to your point of view. Don't give up on them. Just keep praying for them and loving them.

  5. Pray for the person you're talking to. Ask God to open their heart and mind to the truth of the gospel.

  6. Offer to pray with the person. If the person you're talking to is open to it, offer to pray with them for salvation or for whatever else they need.

  7. Give the person a Bible. If the person you're talking to doesn't have a Bible, give them one. This will give them the opportunity to read God's Word for themselves.

  8. Invite the person to church. Invite the person you're talking to to church with you. This will give them a chance to hear the gospel preached and to meet other Christians.

  9. Be a real friend. The most important thing you can do is to be a friend to the person you're talking to. Show them that you care about them and that you're there for them.

  10. Trust God. God is the only one who can change a person's heart. Trust Him to do His work in the person you're talking to.
